Quick question on these lights, I know they have no chrome but are they black in color as well or are they the same color as the stock 06-07 headlights which is like a gray with flake in it, kind of reminds me of flint mica. Im looking to get the vertex grilles in black and would like the background color of my lights to match as well. I know I can go with the 08's to accomplish this but to me the 06-07 are more aggressive looking so the specs are my only hope.

yeah, its like flint mica just like the stockers, but they do look sick all blacked out, the most noticeable difference is the "eyelid" is not reflective/chrome but black!

I always did like the spec 05-07 headlights, looks cool with everything black and the chrome reflector housing. I say go for it

on my old headlights...i just baked them open and painted them black.
smoked my side refelctor also...
looked sick!!
