could i ask where u got those vent inserts?

 

I got them from a guy right here on SL! I'd give you his name, but I believe it was a second-hand sale and he only had the one set.
Perhaps someone else can chime-in that knows who retails them???

those vents are from carbonlux, same company who made the exhaust heat shield. carbonlux@hotmail.com is how you contact them, I've talked to them few times.

 

Okay....I tried taking some night photos with my crappy kodak....and, just as I figured, they suck! Can anyone tell me how to setup the camera for taking night photos?

 

Tripod? Night Mode On Camera?

Okay...it's an old 4MP DX7440 and, from what I can see, it has no "night mode" but I could just be overlooking it. I'm going to download the destructions and read through them.

Got the manual and it does, indeed, have a night setting. In fact, it has several! This damn camera does ten times more than I ever realized!---OOF!

 

that's always a good thing!

 

Now all I need to do is learn how to use it!

I've gone through way to many cameras...now I only have my cell phone one, and I'm slowly learning how to use it...
