So, I'm looking for the factory pedestal spoiler for my tC and i found a few sites with it but i dont know crap about them. i was wondering if anyone ordered from any of these sites or had any info on the quality of the sites. thanks

Also, i dont want to order from toyota directly because im not paying 500 smackers for a damn spoiler... I'd buy an ebay spoiler before i do that. haha

 

I got my Echo's spoiler from Spoiler Depot back in the day. I assume they are still good.

 

yeah, spoiler depot seemed like the more reliable site... but you never know. they could just have a good graphic designer or something.

 

i just dont want to order from some kid working out of his mom's garage with a can of spray paint.

Yeah, you should keep that in mind. They do "OEM style", not real OEM. That's why they are so cheap, but the quality is good.

Yea go with spoiler depot, i bought a wing from them a few years back and it was perfect, color, and came with a DIY stencle to figure out the holes you have to drill.. A+++

yeah, ebay has cheap stuff but i don't really trust it. that same guy that was selling the spoiler that you posted has another spoiler for twice the price claiming "TRUE OEM!! SAME SIZE AND BOLT HOLE DESIGN AS FACTORY!! " so what kind of crap is the other one hes selling... fishy...

 

Go with TRD Sparks. They are a division of Sparks Toyota/Scion. They're a credible site and they are the cheapest place you will find authentic factory aftermarket parts.

Sure the other sites cost half as much but your getting replicas as opposed to a real factory part

 

Mikey, He has both OEM and OEM Spec Aftermarket spoilers. Thats common place at most body shops that are not dealer shops. They will use aftermarket spec products versus OEM.

I got mine from him. Great seller, Paint looks great and fit is awesome, I installed it myself as well.. I got the Aftermarket one like in that auction.

are they the actual factory part? when i looked at the scion dealers site the spoilers were expensive as hell. i dont mind the extra 40 bucks for a guaranteed good quality part.

 

Yeah it looks good. im also worried about the paint. i got rear ended and had to get a new rear bumper and the bsp paint was more of a plain black and it didnt have the speckles like the rest of my car. ill look into it though. thanks for your input.

 

No Prob, I just had my bumper replaced as well last week. Lady didnt stop and rearended me at a light. I want to have it redone when I have the time because it turned out a lighter silver

 

yeah that was the problem with my bumper... just gloss black and no metallic. it also had orange peel and dust in it.


you make decals? i want a massive scion emblem for my car. i want it to go over the driver side hood and wrap on to the fender. ill photoshop what i mean. you think you can give me a quote?
