Default Spoiler Question

I am highly considering getting a m3 style polyurethane spoiler from ebay. The page is at http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SCION...em380001930428. Does anybody have any experience with their m3 style lip not matching the color or the tape coming off? is the installation really easy as applying a sticker? Before everyone go yelling at me for not searching... I done the search, there was one thread about it specifically out of 123 result and it had some of my questions but I just want some more confirmation. Pictures of people's M3 style spoiler would be appreciated.

Well it uses 3m double sided tape, so it is pretty simple for install (no drilling holes in the hatch as a proper spoiler is done). I don't think the tape would come off so easily (it is good stuff in most cases) and because the spoiler itself isn't huge and bulky it shouldn't have a problem, but this is an assumption.

I have one of these in FM. When I got it the first thing I did was check the paint match, and it was perfect, my car was only 2 months old though, so I guess it could be a problem if it was a couple years old and had some paint wear or fade. The spoiler seems pretty sturdy to me, and it looks really good. The install was simple as could be, its just 3M tape ( I always thought that was funny, M3 spoiler uses 3M tape) You just need to make sure you get the spoiler to line up along the trunk line. It's natural shape is straight, but it is just flexible enough to conform to the proper shape. Overall I am happy with this spoiler, goot price and it looks good too.

And you got this from ebay right? Is the tape sturdy? the 3m tape that is. For 60$ its a really good price, i'm probably gonna get it once my money gets in paypal.

yes I got it from email, the tape was already on the bottom of it, all I had to do was clean hatch, peal off backing and stick it on. I've had it for a couple months and it is still exactly like the day I put it on.
