I'm lost concerning the spoiler issue. The Kaminari looks lousy if you don't have the whole kit and even then I'd be self-conscious; the factory lip is just too small for my taste on some days, on others it seems fine. Pedestal looks out of place on the tC to me, which leaves the Viniati lip, which is rather costly and still seems a bit too... square, and the M3-style lip being sold in sponsored sales.

If the OEM lip were less expensive, I'd be all over it. If the Viniati was less expensive and didn't have to be painted, I'd take that first. And while I was set on the M3 style for a bit, it just seems too small. It really is discreet. The other alternative is the OEM-style lip from racingsolution.com in carbon fiber, and while I think CF is cool and all, I'm not sure how it'd look on my car which lacks any other hints of CF.

Anyone have pictures of the CF lip on NBM or IIP? Any advice?

How do you guys think the carbon fiber lip would look on Black Sand Pearl? Does anyone have any pictures of this?

 

i just used 3mm double sided tape... there's no way in hell i'd drill holes in my trunk that weren't already there... the carbon lip should look better on the BSP than it does on any car, since it's a closer color match.

 

Run a search for 'carbon fiber lip' and you'll find some good shots of a BSP with the spoiler. Anyone have the "big style" installed? I've never seen it.

You know i've been debating wether or not my pending tC should get a spoiler or not. (I'm ordering mine without one) Without one, it looks kinda plain, but if it's dropped, it might pull it off. The lip spoiler add flavor to it's big a$$ and the pedestal is fine but a lil wild for me. I like the Xander the most. And the whole rice thing, dude who cares. Any toyota/honda coupes these days are considered rice.

 

That is exactly my thoughts. When your car is called rice it is one of two things: 1) The person is jealous of your car or 2) You didn't spend the money on quality parts. Who cares what other people think! Most of those people voted for Bush!
