Or you can buy my 15' Celica rims and threw some all season or snow tires on them, in the long run it will be cheaper, 15" tires are like $45 compare to $100 plus for 17", also if you slide and hit a curb, no biggy, 55-60 sidewalls take the damage and not the rims...I bought these for the TC, but I plan on driving my CRX during the Winter from now on...PM me on my set...
I am getting the Avon Tech M550 A/S, which are ok in the winter.. but I dont drive mine when it snows
I am more concerned with having good wet and dry traction.
I have been shopping around for tires since I will be replacing mine next month at the latest, and I still find the best deals on tirerack.com
You can also get a set of 15" steelies with Continental ContiWinterContact TS810's mounted on tirerack for our car for $476. They sell winter wheel and tire packages. Maybe not the best winter tire of all.. but pretty good nonetheless for the price
