What are the purpose of strobes?

1. evade red lights (triggering traffc light light sensors)
2. looks kewl
3. bothers people
4. other, please tell!

dude you are not going to turn red lights with strobes in your headlights unless your in some bunk ___ town. New cities don't use that type of setup. and even then I think that is a little to fast and furious dreaming setting anything off in any city. strobes are for ricers /thread

 

Haha... only pratical use for strobes is if you own a Crown Vic. and like to do time in prison.. other than that leave them to show cars and people who like to draw police attention while driving

 

Strobes are good for backing out of parking spaces... most states have lax rules about what you can and cannot do in a parking lot, so cops shouldn't be a problem

 

I use my strobes at shows to get people's attention to the car. Works well. Other than that, pointless.

I must say...when I go out to Night shows the only cars that are getting any attention are the ones with a million strobes and tv's....I like them...they pull me in like a fly in a bug-zapper....

I have a strobe in each headlight, each tail light, a red LED light above the mirror, and a 100 watt siren HAHA

I am also an asst fire chief! Looks great goign down the road, and I love the faces on ppl when they see my fly by them!
