nice to see another virginia member. if i was you i would start with springs like everyone has said. h-techs, trd are good for decent money. exhaust, intake i would def go with those. exhaust would depend on you and you sound preference. but those should get you off to a good start.

oh and as for websites there are plenty out there. here are just a few

ptuning.com
assultech.com
trdsparks.com
mcgeorgeparts.com
racingsolution.com

where in virginia you from?

First thing i got for my car were some HIDs! Link

I think the TRD springs look the best, they dont wear your struts out as quick as the other springs. Plus they give you that clean look and more flexibility to turn and what not.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys, but I was wondering... I live in Norfolk and our roads are generally nasty pretty much all over my region. Potholes and things of the sorts all over the place. Will lowering the car too much cause me to bang into the ground? My previous car which is very low would always whack the ground, but of course that may be because my struts were out....

you shouldnt have a issue. i mean if you go with htech or trd you def wont have a issue. i live in newport news, va. and our roads a ____ty here to. and i have hit potholes with the tein h-techs and havent had any issues. so you should be good.

Ah thanks, that's reassuring. I normally don't go to that side of the water but I absolutely hate it over here. Virginia and their roads.. They're horrible!

I was on Hotchkis springs before my coilovers (now I am lower) and I never once rubbed or scraped with them and Missouri roads I think had some of the worst ratings in the US, don't know if they still do or not lol.
