The only stickers I would put are possibly a real sponsor (ie, they gave me stuff I really like) or if it's a company that I use a product of and really like the product/respect the company.

Example... I won the Hotchkis springs from the Crossword puzzle contest and I think it was really cool of Hotchkis to give them to me, so I'll be rocking one of their stickers when it arrives. Nothing drastic.

The Mustang GT-R was one of the best things I ever saw. It was a V6 too.

Here's where to get them - they come singly or in a set of 2 (scroll down till you swee them):

http://www.brandsport.com/undeemandst.html

When you checkout, type in "scionlife" for the coupon code and you will get a 10% discount.

I plan to put one on the left side of the trunk to balance out the tC emblem on the right, and the other one on the right side of the dash. Any other suggestions for placement?
Why not just slap a Porche emblem on the back too? I am sorry... but why why why?????

Not even close.. the car actually HAS VVT-i .... I wouldnt put that emblem on either, or any sticker for that matter, but at least that is an emblem of something the car acutally has

OK, OK, I get the message that you don't like my idea. But I would still do it for the same reason that I put an Si emblem on my old CRX which wasn't as Si, and a Sport emblem on my Beetle which wasn't a Sport model. The reason is: I think it looks good! If you guys don't like it, my all means, don't do it. But let's not get nasty and mean about it. Sheesh.

And another I'm going to do - which will shock you even more - you know those 4 blanks on the left side of the dash for switches - I'm going to mount switches there - not to control anything - just because I think they will look good! How does that grab you?

soooo, you're saying when audi puts a "quattro" emblem on the front grille of their car that has quattro, it's not rice, but but if someone puts a i-vtec emblem on their car that has an i-vtec engine, it's rice??

Yah know. As far as I know if you have an Audi: a4 or what ever with their engine technology Its gonna come badged already. So I will say, yah. If you put EXTRA quattro badges on your Audi thats rice.

if the car comes out of the factory w/ a badge saying what you have under the hood then that is cool. to take the initiative yourself and slap it on is just rice.

Ahh, I apologize, you misunderstand me.

I was assuming that once you get an S/C and adding the S/C emblem, it would be just as bad as a VVT-i emblem.

Someone said an S/C emblem would be fine once you get one - I don't think it is but.. float your own boat.

I know this person wants to have the S/C badge without one but I was under the impression he'd get one sooner or later and therefore, could be considered as having a badge once the S/c was to be installed.

Now do all of you understand? If you called me a troll, I can understand but if you still do than.. meh, your deal. My only point was that I disaprove of emblems showcasing what you're packing.

D4MN you guys are harsh, I swear no one can say anything on this board without being harrassed. But anyway, I wouldn't do it, unless I actually had a sc, even then, the badges don't look that good. I think if I had a sc, I would add sC- in front of the tC so it is sC-tC or sc-tC. I think that would look cool. ANd it would be a topic of discussion. People would be like, what kind of car is that? Or what does the sc stand for? ANd then you could brag about having a sc.

Just my opinion, no judgement needed.

I vote you do what you want. . . but fair warning, if these people dont like it too much, you better not stop into any Scion meets or any car meets frankly. The reason I say that is, and no, I'm not being mean, is because there are alot more people out there that are mean for real, and will bash you non-stop. Just offering some fair warning. But personally, I dont like when things say something your car is not. Like this NISMO, GT-R, Type-R and Type-S Sentra in J-ville, thats wronger than two boys in a closet.

I agree many are being a bit harsh if that is how you want to take it. If you cannot handle the heat then do not ask such questions, just put on your car what you want and live with it. If you get ridiculed, laughed at, whatever, then possibly there is some merit in the comments whether offensive to you or not, there is still good intentions behind the comments.

If use your recourses to take this really cool car and enhance it with things that either make it faster, bring out it's great attibutes in the looks department, etc, we all agree that is cool.

Sticking things on that have no real value except to possibly bolster a sentitive ego is not going to sit well with those around you, the natural pecking order will prevail and you will get picked on, just the way it is.

Not hating bro, just saying things how they are whether you like it or not;)

Rick
