^^ id be more afraid of the VW then the rsx... those little 1.8turbo engines can be nasty.

I had a R32 stalk my porsche down on the highway and it made an easy pass at 135mph.

 

I take it your porsche 944 wasnt the turbo ? I raced my friends 944 (around same year) with my old z24 (75 shot) and easily took it in the 1/4. Unless there beasts on the highway...

wait i see yours is the custom widebody so I bet it wasnt close to being stock...my bad

 

my 944 was dyno'd at 210 (170hp was stock) with 4 ITB's and a stand alone mgmt. the 944 tubo series was 217hp. So for a NA car, I was 7hp away from a turbo. The downfall was the gearing which would stop the car dead in its tracks at 140mph. the turbo gearing will pull to 160 stock. 1/4 mile times I could hit a 14.6 consistant, but it was built for SCCA not quarters.

 

ITB's...MMMMM and very nice. I do remember even stock the car was amazing around turns.

 

(also the R32 is a 3.2L 250hp motor) so while its far from the 1.8t smaller veedub motors, a turbo swap and some small changes can easily put the 1.8t in the 270+ range for under 3k. plus they are small and light.

honestly, the only thing acura ever made that I liked is the type-r and the NSX (oh and that new turbo SUV, that would be a nice motor swap) . everything else was just plain..

I mean, look at their flagship car, the RL.. it looks so bland.. for 45k, id rather have that new lexus hybrid or something.

Acura needs to step the game back up again.

yea i raced the rsx. i beat it by about a car. its the type s. he has intake, test pipe and catbach exhaust. i spank the vw though.

You tint em anyways.....Ive had 6 tinted window tickets on 2 of my cars... It's never stopped me from gettin the next car tinted though... I went a little lighter though this time. With 35% on my tc.

 

They look like MSR type 029 wheels if I'm not mistaken. Same wheels I have.

Not to dogg you or anything, but I doubt you beat the rsx w/ the mods that it had. I bet driver didn't know what he was doing.

 

im not stock s/c. i have the nst s/c pulley, megan header, megan s pipe, magnaflow axleback. stock bpv is leaking bad. need to replace that next.

 

Ah, if you're SC'd then yes, different story and my bad. I thought you were stock and well.. yah, no way you should taken the RSX. Nice car and mods.
