Default SW tC with 35/20 tint?

anyone got pics of a SW tC with 35% tint in front and 20% tint rear?

kinda hard to search for when lots of people just post pics and dont specify percentages

Hope this helps.

just get 20% all around it looks the best and is the best compromise.

thanks for the pics jrussell

yea...i know 20% all around looks better...but i'd feel more confortable not going too dark in the front even though 35% is still illegal haha

still looking for pics of 35/20 on a white tc

20%

35%

No hassles from the police. I hope that helps you out.

Yeah, its dark enough to match but you can't really tell because the roof is 3 separate panels. (Unless you get on a ladder and look down on them. ) Cali is really **** about dark tint, so I went with what I thought would keep me outta trouble with the po-lice. Being darker in the Hatch, my whole tC looks darker. If you can do it (kinda wish I had), go with 5% on the Hatch.

Sorry not a SW..

Again, no hassle from cops in Cali. But now I wish I had 5% in the rear as well. And maybe a shade darker in the front. I just might re-do them.

hey Hyghgynx...does 35% and 20% show a noticable difference or barely noticeable difference when next to each other?

Barely noticable IMO. It would be different if the Hatch was 'connected' to the other windows (i.e Rear Quarters are 'connected' to the Driver and Passenger windows), but the Hatch is a separate piece. Bonus: If you ever have rear passengers in your tC, they will love you if tint your Hatch dark. Keeps the heat off your homies during road trips.

Ideal: 5% Hatch, 35% all around.

35/20 looks funny next to each other IMHO. (I mis-interpreted your previous question.) Disrupts the 'flow'. You'll be happier if you keep the sides the same %.
