Hehe thanks. The wiring to go from RS3 LED tails to the Anzo's was a little trick but if you are going from OEM's, it is pretty straight forward from what I remember.

 

Except I have an 09. I think I'll have to get the tail light wiring harness from 05-07. Somehow.

Yes, you just need to get the 05-07 harness from the dealership, as mentioned above.

 

If the anzo had more usable LED's I would be all over it.

I thought the Anzo's got revised because of some water issues and that's why the red/smoke isn't as readily available anymore as it was the 'first generation' product with the leakage issues, and that they just carried over the full clear or red/clear with the fix, can anyone shed some light on that for me? I'm in the market for Anzo's too was going to do red/clear and tint the clear myself from bluebat.

I don't know. Don't quote me on this, but from what I've heard around $18 each.

I've never heard that at all but I can tell you that I'm going on 2 years on my smoked Anzo's and have absolutely no issues whatsoever with them. My car gets rained on all the time too here in FL

 

noob question, whats the difference between the rs3 and tyc tails? is it just the red/orange part?

RS3 tails are way more expensive and more rare. Some people red out their TYC to make some imitation RS3s. Whatever floats your boat, I suppose.
