Hey guys i love the look of the darkened tailights but i have no idea where to get it done or how much it costs....I know this might not help much but i have done google searches and can't find anywhere in the ventura county area that does tail light tinting!

So if anyone knows of anywhere in Ventura County (805) that could do this than that would be awesome

Oh....and are tinted tails legal?

 

You'd be better off tinting them yourself. Unless you want to pay anywhere from $150 for a light tint job or $150 per tail light for a darker version. Are they legal? Technically no, they aren't, but if you can see the red reflector you should be fine. It really depends on the cop's point of view.

 

it has to allow a certain percentage of red light (when the brakes are applied) to pass through in order to be legal. I do not know the actual amount off of the top of my head, but the majority of the tinted tails you see here are illegal

 

FLEA is very good at it and you're both in Cali so have him do it lol
