Im not sure if anyone else has seen this or had this happen to them. I was at a toyota photo shoot last night and one of the guys from our group there noticed the taillight didnt look right. So I started looking at it and it is deforming. It os caving in. I have aftermarket bulbs or anything like that. Plus it is where a bulb is not and it is in one of the most oddest places for it to deform. Here is some pics of it. If anyone else has seen this please let me know. The salesman at Scion dont think it will be covered under warranty cause it is a cosmetic peice. But he suggested I post here and see if anyone else has seen this.

I've seen a tail light warp like that, but only because the guy was taking his overlays off and left the heat gun there for a little too long. lol. other than that, i've never seen this. maybe the dealer would replace it?
If the dealer wont replace it, I would just buy new ones on ebay, theyre only 10-20 bucks. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SCION...spagenameZWDVW

yeah I am going to measure the tailight heat today. The car sits outside cause the car is getting tore up driving over the speed bumps getting into my covered area. I would like to see how hot they are getting out there.

well I also heard of the dash starting to bubble in the center above the vents but that people got that covered under warranty as well even though its cosmetic. Having the tint on there could pose a problem, but if that issue doesn't come up I dont see why it wouldnt be covered under warranty being used under normal conditions.
Even though the temp in AZ isn't really normal, its what we're stuck with. :-D

So what does a bumper to bumper warrenty cover, just the front and rear bumper? This is bull, it should be covered. The only thing I can think of that they may say is that the lens were tampered with, being that they no longer appear stock. Even then they are full of thr POOP!

I could see them denying a warranty claim because you tinted the lenses, but if it happened on a stock lense and the claim was denied, that'd be grounds for a fight, imo.
