taking off emblems

Default taking off emblems

I want to take of the TC emblem on the back of the trunk. how do i do thiis and what do i need?

get a hairdryer and hold it on the emblem for about 3 mins

and then get thin thread and slide it through the adhesive in the backk

if it's a really hot day, you can actually peel it off without a hairdryer.

that's what i did to the dealer emblem when i bought my car. I peeled it off and left it in the parking lot!

i did mine with out a hairdryer no prob and it wasn't even that hot out

and Goo Gone or Ooops will work for gettin the extra adhesive off

Yeah, it's just a little extra help. I did the hair dryer and used fishing line. hahahaha.....couldn't find any dental floss or thread.

i just used floss and some goo gone at the end to take off the leftover adhesive

wedge a credit card under it.. then inbetween the credit card and the emblem, put a butter knife and then pop it off that way.. becareful though.. I've done it that way with a few cars..so just becareful
