I got eyelids for my Tc off of ebay from stealthstreetconcepts. They were $55. shipped and good quality. I thought about bluebats but the thing I didnt like was that they are vinyl overlays and would need to be replaced eventually.. That and the fact that they dont line up with the thickness of the body, since they are a thin overlay they dont match up to the fender panels and the hood (Im **** about aesthetics..)

Unfortunately no they didnt.. But I am going to put the car in the shop anyway so they will just paint them as well as the other things... You can contact Elliot over at stealthstreetconcepts maybe they can work out a deal to paint them. They are super nice people over there...

how rigid are the eyelids from streetstealth? Ive been eyeing them for a while, but i dont know about their paintablity when they're off the car. I want to have a set of eyelids that are rigid enough to be painted without being supported by the headlight aka paint them when they arent on the car. Are they stiff enough to do this and not crack during handling/install or are they flimsy?

That picture of your original eyelids is what I've been looking at doing for months. what eyelids, where did you get them, how much, were they painted after installation or before?

i ordered them from a sponsor on here. mazda6stuff. i got it for 39 and went to a local body shop and got it painted for 50. the eyelid was painted before installation which was pretty easy, obiviously. i am not sure if mazda6stuff still sells it or not. so goodluck and post some pics of them bad boys.

The ones I got from streetstealth are really good.. They are thick but still able to bend them, they come with a sticky glue backing on the them (papercovering the glue). I havent tried to paint mine yet, but I really dont think there will be any problem. If they are laid flat and sprayed paint should adhear just fine, streetsteath said they are paintable..

I am waiting to have them painted, I need a few things painted on my car so I want to have it all done in one shot, instead of a few different times I really dont want to have a few different shades of BCP on my aftermarket stuff...
