OK... I searched and searched. and yes, the threads are out there.

Im thinking about tossing on some yellow overlays myself... but want to see andcompare everyone elses.
so... post away guys!!!

i dont have overlays, but im gonna use some VHT niteshades this weekend when i tint my taillights.

 

Hmm... I'm not sure many tC owners have them. At least, probably not in yellow.

But let's see them. I'm curious now.

 

Yeah... I have an ssm. Ive seen yellow overlays on a silver 350 which looked alot better than i thought it would.
Then today I saw a white bmw m-coupe with yellow overlays... again. looked good.
Its funny. I want to see them on a tc.. yet, i want to be one of the only ones with them.
go figure. lol

 

proto..you have a very clean car as it is rite now..and i think that yellow overlays looks nasty on a silver car. well depending on the car that is. the only ones that may look nice on your car would be clear ;) or smoke. but try going to headlightarmor.com they may have some pics.

and dave.. i highly suggest you do not niteshade your headlights.. buy overlays

Liek I said.. Im not sure how they would look. sometimes you never know till you try. Im just trying to avoid the $70 mistake.

haha, that was just wrong.
I personally dont like the blue. I feel its trying to be"hid"
Theres really no point for blue overlays is what Im saying.
Yellow is used in racing to separate classes and also helps out in the fog and rain etc....
But, I wont knock the blue. if you like it.. thats all that matters.

I was thinking of painting the inside of the lights ssm to match the car. Then putting the yellow.
again.. I have a light being replace b/c its cracked on the inside.... Ill prolly be tryin some different things with it.

Hmmmm..... I just might have to be the ginnypig ( haha... Im Italian too ) and try the yellow

 

i have an RS1.0 and im debating on yellow or those 20%...any suggestion on which would look better with the red paint.

 

Yellow, IMO, wouldn't look too good. remind me of a McDonalds car. black on an RS-1 would look pretty nice. Even just a light smoke could accent the red and make it stand out more.
