Default tc headlight pics

im looking to get some ideas on how to change my headlights a little bit. i currently have an 07 with stock headlights, but i have 10k HID bulbs in them... very nice. but i want more! im thinking clear corners, good eyelids (actual plastic, not vinyl) and some better turn signals.. i currently have chromed amber turns in now, but want yellow! i hate amber! so basically, does anyone have pics of their headlights with any of these mods? i have a 07 nautical blue... think chromed turns, clear corners, and nb eyelids with HID would look nice? anyone done this? ive already decided against restrofit projectors, unless my same HID bulb will fit in them, and they are relatively inexpensive...

Retrofitting projectors is the best option in terms of HID. Sure its expensive but you get what you pay for. Plus your able to really make your headlights stand out. Far more than just clear corners, eyelids, etc

It's very unlikely that a retro will still take your 9006 bulb.

As for the rest, I doubt anyone has that specific combination of things. You'll probably just have to look around for pics of specific parts.

I don't understand the turn signal part though... what exactly are you changing? You have a chromed bulb that flashes amber... why bother changing the color? It's rarely shown.

As for the clear corners... talk to LiquidFX. I think he makes clear inserts for the amber pieces inside the headlights. But you'll be baking your headlight and taking it apart to do the swap.

For the eyelids... well, if you get the plastic eyelids and have them painted with actual NB paint, they'll come out pretty nice. But you may want to consider vinyl for simplicity and $ savings - or at least see how close of a color match some of the vinyl ones are. I've had mine on for well over a year with zero issues and they look fantastic.

You could also just paint the eyebrow inside the headlight. Thats plastic already anyway. Some people have done that and it came out very nice.

The purpose of doing retro is to incorporate OEM HID projectors from vehicles, such as BMW, Lexus, Infiniti, etc, into your halogen headlights. So no, you will not use your 9006 halogen bulbs, but you will be using HID bulb standard, namely D2S (most common), D1S, D4S, etc.

k, then i do not want retrofits, although they look awesome. i like the clear corners alot!~ a definite mod in the near future. not a big fan of angel eyes for the tc... just not my thing. as for the turn signals, im a perfectionist, and hate that they flash orange, and the mirrors flash yellow and i have yellow fogs, so they just stick out. id rather them all be yellow. yea a minor thing, but thats what makes modifying cars so fun... getting the little things done. and lastly, where can i find a hard set of eyelids? i have bought 2 sets of vinyl ones and i just was not impressed. color was off one one of them, fitting was off on the second... anyone have closeups of their eyelids? and where they got them from? the thick vinyl was nice if they fit better... which is why im looking to paint hard plastic ones...
i appreciate the input! hopefully i can my headlights all done in the next week or so... (clear corners, turn sigs, eyelids)

Just bake them open and paint the eyelids the color of your car when you bake them to put clear corners in

You could also do some combination of tint spray and regular paint on your stock sidemarkers instead of swapping in clear ones.
