tC shot by BB GUN!
hey everyone...
well my car was shot by a BB gun a while ago and i have had no money or options to get this thing fixed at the time. the thing I dreaded most is starting to happen (rusting) because the chips of paint are all the way to the metal. my insurance deductible is over 1000$ and I believe it will raise my rates if I claim it. the 2 shots are on the rear quarter panel and passenger door. So basically if i want it factory quality its gonna mean repainting my entire rear quarterpanel and passenger door. (2.2K+$) what should I do? is there any temporary touchup I can do to atleast stop the rusting. Am I already screwed now that its got rust on it?

Do you have full coverage auto insurance? If you do you should've contacted your insurance when it happened and made a claim.
Rust is the equivalent to cancer for us. There are some things they use on offshore rigs that stop rust in a heartbeat. Good luck getting it though.

2.2K is extreme. You can get the whole car repainted for that much in stock color. I would say you are looking at $600 or less. I've had some work done in the past my maaco (of course I had to get the right guy who did aftermarket work, but they are inexpensive and ok to good quality. Not great but good.
