yea thats what i tried with raceland seeing that they are a new company out there and getting their products for free. i made a thread in here and another site telling people who are interested to email than because they are looking for buyers

 

why do you guys think we need a skid plate? VWs need it since their oilpans are exposed, leaving them open to damage (typically from raised manholes) on slammed cars. their engines are mounted with the exhaust manifold against the firewall. luckily ours is opposite, so the s-pipe acts as a skid plate for us. skid plates for VWs, like Mason Tech and BMPD (or something like that), cost more than $200. how many of you are so slammed that you need to make such an investment? i'm not aware of a single tC owner who destroyed their oil pan (that a skid plate would have prevented). if you really need one, a race/off road shop can fabricate one.

 

for me in pa there are a butt load of potholes and you see a lot of debris on the roads, and me wanting to go lowered with just make things a lot more worry free even if only the s-pipe is prone to damage. i'd rather be safe than sorry. i'm sure not everyone sees it my way. but people arent wanting one for looks im sure

well i sent raceland an email today to show them that there are people who are interested and think it would be worth their while to produce one because they are a new company and that would make them independent from other companies because of their cheap prices and items that no body else makes them.

i showed them this thread and 2 others that other people created so hopefully something will come out of it

 

I am more looking for a diffuser for the front similar to the beatrush ...a nice smooth piece w/ vents to let the air out...true i could make one but I hate dealing w/ sheet metal.

all that they told me was that they sent my email to upper management. in about a month or so ill contact them again to see if anything might be happening along with other proucts

id definitely buy it i need one i have half a under engine cover once my vrd grille fell out and my rear tires smashed it
