Hey, I know that car! She showed those to me last time I was in (unfortunately did not make it to the anniversery party though ). They actually looked a lot better on the car. I hated them when I first saw them online, then ScionDad posted pics of his, which made me look again, then these. They still aren't quite what I am looking for, but I have to say they looked better than I originally thought. I think (probably because of the chrome in them) they look better on the SSM.

Pictures on a dark colored car? I would like to see what it would look like on IIP or something.

::greases up in flame retardant:: Is everyone scared of change? It seems like anytime someone tries to deviate from the norm, people complain. Do you want the same ol' altezzas? I don't understand...

I was thinking of copping a pair in the future, I would overlay them though. At Waldorf Scion someone had them on a Blue tC. Looked aight. I don't think they are that bad in the first place, and seeing that everyone is hating on them makes me want to get them and be a fore fronter....but then again 275 isn't anything I can pull out my ___ at the moment...

These look worse than altezzas. All I'm saying is that if you're going to deviate from the norm (when it comes to your car), at least do it in a manner that is somewhat stylish. These lights just make the car look like a joke. I don't see anything wrong with not liking these taillights.

Uh......................... they're nice. perfect. Looks alot better than people purchasing all these euro lights on no euro vihicles.............. it pulls together clean super whites with dark tints. pulls the black/white contrast through to the back of the car. I getting these........... and I don't like buying millions of accessories. This came in at the last minute and its just in time. Took like 30 seconds to make up my mind. - DONE And also, this will let people know I have a 06 since there aren't any noticable changes between the 05 and 06. Thanks TYC for helping me out on that since scion hasn't made worthwhile upgrades in 12 months......... (07 model is going to have Sharp Spiked 20inchers to stop dodge neons and colbalts from passing tcs on the freeway)

There's nothing wrong about not liking the lights. But heaven forbid someone tries to mix things up a little.

A new and different product comes out, and only a handful of people embrace the change. The rest clamor for more Been-There-Done-That product. Then when a company's "new" and "fresh" ideas come out and get shot down by their marketing analysts because people are afraid of change, you have no one but yourself to blame. This exact reason is why any market can stagnate.

I'm not saying people should buy something they don't like. If you don't like it, fine, but open your mind up to change once in a while.

I'd open my mind up to change if it was change for the better. Or, change for the more stylish. But this is change for the worse. Change for the crap.

Point made.

the light does look not bad at night, but man, when you can actually see the damn thing, it's freaking hideous.

Some people just dont like them... doesnt mean they dont like change. I love change, but if someone say, put purple carpet in my house I wouldnt be too happy. Some will like them, some wont, that even goes for a stock tC.

So people should buy lights they dont like in order to keep the comany going??? Yeeeeah. I am not bashing the company for doing something new, and not really outright bashing the lights, they look better to me now than when I first saw them.. but they still arent what I am looking for. A little tip about marketing. The idea is to make something new that the market will like. If they fail, then obviously they did not meet the markets expectations and it is back to the drawing board. It is not the markets burden to buy the product just to keep the manufacturer going, it is the manufacturers burden to try and gauge the market and build products they will buy. According to your definitions above, if someone doesnt like them it is because they are "afraid of change", which is a bit of an over-generalization to say the least. Do you buy clothes you dont like at all just to show you like change? That is no better than doing what everyone else is

Not everyone hates them...i think they look tight on our RS tC's. Some of those that hate on them couldn't even afford them anyway. lol

ssdm7683 Its like this, they like them or not, either way me and my wife like them, period, Doesnt really matter as long as we like them.

BTW-Are you collecting one of each RLS 1.0? And which one do you prefer?
I really think I might dig an XB but going from an Expedition w/20's to an XB would be a lil hard just yet, but maybe...

I do luv both the Lava box and the Red tC. I would trade a gas hungry, big body, on 20's, for a xB any day. I like the fact that we own a RS 1.0 tC and xB. I'd have a hard time tradding in my Impreza for a RS xA though. Truth be known, the box will always be my 1st luv , Red is HOT...but Lava is way HOTTER!!!
