tC upper grill removal
I did a search on this and only found incorrect answers so I'm hoping someone can help me out. I am trying to remove the chrome trim around the grill. I read that you can pop the tabs and pull it right off but there are a few spots for screws to attach to the grill itself. These spots are wider than body so it appears that I will have to remove the entire grill. I seem to have it all done except for the center portion of the upper grill on top and bottom, they are attached to the body by some other means than a screw or tab. At this point I'm pretty much clueless...and my back's freakin' killin' me. Thanks.

The upper grille is held in by clips. The chrome trim ring is attatched to the grill with screws. You have to remove the front grille from the car and the uscrew the chrome trim ring from the grille. Push on the grille from the outside and release the clips one by one from the inside and it will come right off. If you cant tell where the clips are, they are painted the same color as the car.

Thanks...I went out and took another look and was able to get it off. The weird thing about it was there was a slot on the grill above and below that had little tabs on the body that went through them and they were glued on, not clips. Thanks again.
