No, seriously, don't rice that car up like that. I went to the car show yesterday and by far, the carbon-fibre trunk with integrated lip spoiler's the cleanest and best looking spoiler I've seen for the car`

if this thing sprouted legs it ould look very close to this but it doesnt have legs so it looks nice maybe you can trim the legs off and make your self a decent lip spoiler with a little bit of fiberglassing skill

 

The base hanging off the side makes it look really tacky.

The wing itself is not too bad...but not with our car.

Take it off.

Well if some ppl have actually read the thread. You would know that it needs some work to fit. And Its not for Honda.. It was the wing that came off my grand am that was custom made for the grand am. I have another wing around the house from my grand am that you guys may like better.. Ill try to get some pics of that after the snow is gone now..

 

I just dont like lip spoilers cuz there is no design in it. It sit flat on the trunk. Why have anything at all. I want sumthin your gonna see when im driving down the road. The pedestool spoiler that tctunerz has is ok but seems a little to low for my likings. I saw it in person. Looks good but small.

I dont want it for purpose. i dont drive a nascar. I want it for looks. stand out. A lip spoiler just dont stand out imo

Ppl say honda and rice and blah blah.. But scion/toyota is the same thing.

 

Honda's are not automatically RICE, same as scion/toyota. RICE is when you add a huge wing onto any car on which it has no function. If you were to add one one say a ferrari, or a porsche, that would be a whole different story. RICE has to do with the whole "all show no go " thing. Same deal goes with carbon fibre overlays....etc.

If you really want a huge wing on your car thats serves no purpose other than drawing attention to yourself, go right on ahead. But dont be suprised if you get the type of attention you dont want, such as ending up on www.laughatrice.com

LOL PS that's an even scarier thought.. that wing on a Trans AM. And having actually PAID someone to CUSTOM fabricate that for you.


Ah well.. guess it all just depends on personal preference. If it rocks your world- good for you man! I'm definitely goin to have to give a big thumbs down on this one though.

 

Screw those with good taste! Keep it! Don't even paint it, it looks great the way it is.
