Default TC's rear lights should've been this...

I got my new TC about a month ago, and I like the overall looks of the car, especially the shape of it looking at it from the side... but the rear doesn't really do anything for me (especially the tiburon/pontiac g6 -ish look). I feel like the designers could've done something better...

So I was in an experimental mood today and I took some white electric tape and ran the first strip along a body line from the side of the car... then eventually covered up the top part of the light. I could only do one light because I ran out of tape ;).

Anyway, here are some pics. They should've made it this way! It sorta ____es me off that it could've easily looked so much better/classier .

I hope these pictures work - this is my first post.

actually that looks kind of nice, but the light looks a lil too thin, and i dont like how it looks from the side. But otherwise it does look a bit more classier.

Oh yes, I know about the overlays. But the thing is, they're not seamless - you can easily see the original shape. So basically your admitting to the guy behind you that you know your car doesn't look that good and that you're trying to hide it ;)

Love it, Ender! I dunno about the gold though, lol..

But yea, I'd really like to do something like that, I just don't know how to go about it & how much $$ I'd need.

Well you can go about it like the guy in my first post and mod the electrical aspect... then the rest is easy... split the top portion of the headlight you don't like with some sort of rotor tool... fill in the gaps you don't want... and paint

Anyway..Yes. BlueBatMobile has those overlays.

He makes them so that it ends about a quarter inch above the signal so you're still able to see the signal when it's on.

His gallery is in my sig. Check it out. =]

This one is the best out of all of them.
This setup reminds me of the mercedes s-class 550 sedan.

And this guy already done that. Tail light partitians are the way to go.

I LIKE THAT SUBTLE OVERLAY ALSO. MAYBE WE OUGHT TO START A "REQUEST ON DEMAND" OF THESE OVERLAYS TO GET BLUEBAT TO
DESIGN THEM. JUST A SUGGESTION.
