Default tC's W/ Scion freont end MASK, please your post pics!

We drive our car 100 miles a day and already at 1k we have a few rock chips We do not have anyone that does the clear bras in our areas so were considering the OE Scion front end mask. PLEASE post pics of your cars with this mask, any Rls Ver 1.0 w/these? If so post too, thanks.

IMO dont do a mask, it will damange your car more than rock chips will. the mask will scratch your car when putting it on, and taking it off. dont tail gate people, and give your self even more distance from other cars when driving if you are real worried about rock chips.

BS! Roll 15k miles in less then a year and I can assure you the damage my bra has done (very very very little) is FAR less then the 8k miles I rolled without the bra on. And it's not just rocks, bugs chip the paint too!

Fact is our paint is CRAP. My front end was ruined IMO in 8k miles from driving up and down the Interstate to and from work.

Now I roll with the bra on because it simply can not do more damage. The IIP looks good with the black bra on anyways... so it's all good.

On topic, I'll post a pic of my car within a week Cajun with the bra on for you. PM me if I forget. =)

your telling me its bs? lol... bras can and DO scratch the paint. it will also make your cars paint fade differently. lets say you keep the bra on for a year. when u take the bra off after that year, look are the different shade of paint you have there because the sun faded the rest of the car, while that area was protected by the bra. (this rules doesnt apply if you car is kept in a garage, or shaded).

you can call me out on a BS all you want, but bras scratch the paint more, than without a bra. you just need to learn how to not follow people close.

Default I do alot of driving around USA

SO this thread is telling me it better to drive long distances (1,500 at a time) without a bra then with a bra. I think if ur gonna do a long distance drive in one sitting, the bra is perfect. IMO. But i take it off right after my long trips. I am currently going to drive from chciago to boston and then boston to maryland and then to Florida so I think the bra is perfect for me.

I am not asking what you guys think about the bras, its not up to me, its my wifes car and she wants it, period, just for the chip factor. I just want to show her the pics. She already has a chip in just two weeks. I know what bras do, I have owned cars that had them.

Thanks.

Here is the pic. I just took it off after a couple of months and no scratches on the hood or anything.

Hope this pic helps out. The only thing about the bra is the lack of a net to protect the radiator.

I have to agree, the bra really doesnt look good. Plus I have heard that it can mess up your paint over time and make it look uneven. But to each his own.

^^It's all in how you take care of it. But yes it's not that please to the eye. But on it doesn't throw off the look of the car too much.

I heard of that too but I bought a 7 year paint fading warrenty from the dealer so, what the hell. The bra looks better then the big scratch I got from driving in the city all the time.
