Testing the waters: The Other Splitter (NOT A SALE THREAD)
It's finally here, folks. The interest-gauge thread for The Other Splitter. Sale would be done as a group-buy format only (after I start the required site sponsorship here). Price per piece would be $210 + applicable shipping (I charge for actual shipping + packaging). My random zip code tests show shipping to average around $40 for the continental US-- I can't speak for Hawaii, Alaska, or Puerto Rico-- they would invariably be more.
What's included, you ask...
The Other Splitter.
The questions. (I'll update as more come in)
Q: Does it fit with lip kits or aftermarket bumpers?
A: I don't know, I honestly don't. It's made for the stock bumper cover.
Q: How hard is it to install?
A:The only tools required for installation are a drill with a 3/16" drill bit, a 10mm socket, a 17mm socket, and a 4mm allen wrench (which will be included). Installation does require you to remove your bumper cover. Should take a person with average skills about 1 hour.
Q: Any chance you'll sell them cheaper?
A: No. The stainless hardware and rods are close to $50 per splitter, not to mention the ABS and the time required to fabricate each piece.
NO MONEY WOULD BE ACCEPTED UNTIL AFTER THE FIRST OF THE MONTH. MINIMUM GROUP BUY WOULD BE TEN PIECES.

Questions-
How's you original doing?
Can we see the wear and tear (if of any appreciable ammount)?
I suppose that mounting isn't adjustable, right? The ammount it sticks out is fixed?
Do you install this along with the OEM splash guards?

Looks like the day I installed it, except for the spots from where I've clipped a parking block or two (it clears most). I've scraped the bottom on driveways a couple of times, and when I look at the underside, I can't find any marks.
I tested several depths in mock-up, and this amount of "lip" seemed to be the best aesthetically. It sticks out just under 3" from the bumper lip.
It replaces the center pair of splashguards (it actually extends back a little farther than the splashguards).
It's hella bright outside, but I'll try to snap a pic or two to show the current (dirty) condition.

I think the steering feels better up above 70mph, but that could be placebo effect. I mean, any device attached to the front bumper will have some positive or negative aerodynamic effect at high speeds... I just have no way of proving what the splitter does on our cars.
Aside from looking good.
