Okay this is what everyone has been waiting for.
I have just received my black grilles and they look pretty damn legit to me.
Very sturdy, thick ABS plastic, feels alot stronger and looks as good if not better than OEM.
I only installed the top grille because I couldn't "properly" clip all of the clips for the bottom ones without either taking off my bumper or taking off my splash guard... and didn't feel like messing with it at the moment.
The top grille fit perfectly, and snapped in tight on all of the clips. They actually clipped in better/stronger than the OEM.
I am officially a VRD fan, I'd recommend these over Figs on quality alone.
Currently as I am posting this Speedinfiniti (first ebay link) only has 4 available. So if you are planning on getting them, get them now before everyone that is watching this thread picks them all up.
$57.99 + $16.99 shipping = $74.98 best deal so far Brand New.
I bought it on Apr-06-09 and it arrived today Apr-13-09. Pretty fast shipping and nice packaging. You will NOT get a shipment confirmation though, so expect a nice surprise.

Yea, I can't 100% say it's an official VRD, since I don't see a stamp (but then again I don't think the real ones did that in the first place, unless someone can verify)
But I CAN say that they fit perfectly (at least the top part, again haven't done the bottom because it wouldn't snap in with me just forcing it on by pulling it, so I guess I'll have to either take off the bumper, or at the very least remove the bottom splash guard to get at it)

I'm sure it'll fit fine. Just have to maybe take off the bumper (which I've done before when I did my CAI and it's not all that bad)
Just can't do the cheap way of installing. I tried to pull on the grille and punch the bumper at the same time. Also tried to push it in with my arm going through the space between the bumper and radiator.
When I put back the bottom oem though it just popped right in.
But i'm not too worried about it, I examined the build quality and the tab holes and they look similar to OEM.
The top grille is the same way, you can't just pull on it to pop it in, you have to push the clips in one by one. But they are on tight, tighter than oem, feels real solid.

haha i just ordered em this morning. Theres 1 left and i told my buddy to get on that before someone else does. Its either A. I spend $75 and im disappointed or B. I just got the sweetest deal on ebay. haha
