thinking of custom paint
yeah, i showed at HIN yesterday and now the mod bug has got me itchin' again...
something like this maybe? I'd like to incorporate nautical blue, black sand, and silver streak/classic silver.
i already know from the above picture that the silver part towards the rear of the car is too thick along the sideskirt. I'd thin it by 6-12" the rear silver part... the top of it flows w/ the body line, same with the top part of the black.
should i outline the colors with something?
throw some suggestions out there guys :D

as it stands right now... the csm is outlined w/ bsp..
now to outline the BSP w/ csm... should the outline flow into the CSM part, or should the bsp outline not be broken?

eh, now that i've seen it... it just looks too...... plain?
I dont know, i dont think random shapes of color is going to do it. anyone have an ideas on how to spruce it up a bit? figure i've got about $5k to play with, so custom airbrushing is certainly possible.
btw, thank you for the chop

heh, jorge, i love you
but yeah, i was playing around in PS and just using the render clouds filter using black and nautical blue as the colors turned out nicely. I can't even begin to imagine how much something like that would cost to paint though....
