Whats the best tint % for the tC in Flint Mica. If you got pics of your tinted Flint Mica please post it. Thanks :-)

All depends on your taste and how much you're willing to risk tix.
I am going with 35% as in the pix I've seen, it looks great, but still lets you see and likely won't get the cops on your case.

 

Is that 35% all around? I was thinking about Limo tinting the glass on the roof.

 

i dont think tinting the roof will be a good idea...
the roof is already somewhat tinted and putting extra and diff tint will not let the glass "breath" expand and contract when the temp changes. plus i think it was brought up on the socal-tc-club forum and some one there explained it better...

but i would say find out thru dealer or someone who know about it, if its a good idea to tint the roof

 

yeh the roof is already tinted....if you put limo tint, you won't be able to see out of it unless you open it...preference

I have 20% all around. You have to look for a few seconds to make out what's inside (if you're outside) and you can see a whole lot if you're inside, and at night...night is the big issue...20 is fine with me, but probably illegal in most states.

 

I have 18% on the main five, with 40% across the entire windshield, with a strip of limo at the top to make it less noticeable. It is hard to see in, but I can see out just fine.

I have 15% and I love it, dont tint the sunroof it might shatter.

 

I had 15% all around in my last car and i must say that I really liked it. It wasn't too light and wasn't too dark. Just perfect. But its all personal preference. The only problem i had was that It was hard to see when I would try backing up or parellel park. So i had to roll down the windows.

BTW .. Tinting the front windows are always illegal whether its 40% - 5%. It just depends if the cop is _______ to give you the ticket for it.

 

I have 25% on the front and 5% on the rear. Looks great, although I would have preferred to have 5% all the way around, but state law prohibits it.

i have 20% all around except windshield. Just like Nate2085 said in the day the look is good cause its not way dark. But at night they look way darker. Imo 20% is perfect.

 

i have 20% all around, and i think it's perfect too. i have 5% all around in my prelude and i have to open the door to see when i back up. it's annoying. for pics of the 20% tint, click the link in my sig.

 

20% sounds good. Have those of you who tinted the windshield have trouble with the law due to the tinting?

 

If you tint it with 40% I'm pretty sure that it wont attract attention from the cops.

 

i haven't got harassed yet. 35% tint is legal in utah, which is barely nothing. I rarely drive way fast, so as not to attract attention. If I see a highway patrol though I'll role my windows down cause those dudes will bust you for anything they can!!! They're dicks like that!
