Yeah, that looks really nice with the black paint/blackout reflector. Good call.

I would suggest doing the Umnitza DDE Mod with this as well, as you will save time and energy, cause you'll want to do it anyway, cause...

THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL

That way, since you need to open the headlamp assemblies to install the DDE rings, you can also take care of this as well...
That's what I chose to do and it worked out great. You will need to open the headlamp assembly to do either mod.
(AND IT'S NOT THAT TOUGH). Just need to have guts...

Also, if you are mod freak like me, you can mount CC tubes to your front bumber mount while the bumper is off and run the wiring to get a nice glow grill,
which I will take pictures of when I get my undercar on this week.

And While you're at it, throw in a CAI...

That way you'll save time... I've taken my bumper off like 5 times so far and It's getting tiring....
Once to do the CAI, then the DDE's, the the OEM body Kit, then then the CC tubes... and the mod list is growing.

My wife called me and asked me what I was doing...

I said baking, Hun...

She said what are you baking?

I said my headlamps!

YES, you get to put your headlamps in the oven!
I've been doing this with the vw crowd for a while now... it's not crazy hard.

The whole purpose is to heat up the rubber sealant uniformily,
so that it is pliable and allows the housing to be pulled apart and put back together.

at around 250 for 15 minutes all it does it heat up the plastic... nothing even
meltworthy.... it was hot to the touch for like 10 minutes, but the sealant comes apart slowly and steadily.

I used Maximus's guide for the tC as an additional reference, cause I'd only done VW MKIV light housings before. It's really not that hard, you just can't be Stupid and do it.

Can you post some night pics with those tinted corners? I think they'd look great on my FM tC since the amber right now kinda stands out, but I was curious how they look at night.

One of my tails have a big crack in it so I can see what it looks like under the outer housing. I wanna open it up and replace the outer housing with a clear one from the TYC tails. But I need some red overlays cuz the lights are not red without the red plastic. I think just a round piece over the brake light only. I think if I go ahead and actually do this I'd probably want to paint all the silver parts black too. This will kinda make it altezza-ish but I think it'll be ok considering it'll be unique for a tC consider that it'll be a custom mod.
