Whats up guys i have a 2005 silver streak manual tC, want to tint the tail lights. I have NO idea how to do it, nor do i know anyone that can or will. Is there anybody who can give me an estimated price, or if anyone in the southeastern part of PA wanna give me a PM. Thanks for all the help, love sl

don't bother you'll just get pulled over and ticketed.
not worth the money imo
or if you really want
either red em out, or buy like 50% window tint and do that haha idk

Depends on where you live. I spoke to a local officer during one of a Scion club's car shows/charity events my club was sponsoring... And he told me, it's legal to tint the rear tails as long as the following is observed. 1. brake lights can be clearly seen when braking during the day...and 2. tail lights are visible 150-200 feet behind the vehicle at night.

you can tint them just fine...it's the same thing as doing your windows and only costs like 10 bucks instead of like like 40 for the overlays.
just saying.
also if you buy the overlays get the ones with the reverse light cutout.

there is a reason it goes on the inside of window, it will not hold up to the elements nor will it curve to the shape of the tail lights. so again please do not buy window tint

omg you have no clue wtf you are talking! please just stop, they do not put it on the outside of your window. The only time they put it on the outside is to cut it to shape then they put it on the inside.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWAX%3AIT

ive ordered this stuff from this guy and it works pretty well...

I suggest putting it on when it is warmer though or in a heated garage because otherwise it is too hard for a noobie like me
