Default Tired of this stupid rear lip (RS1 scratch problem)

Does ANYONE else have this problem? No matter what I do I can't get the damn thing to stay down. It'll stay, but then the exhaust bumps it and hits it back up, giving these REALLY bad scratch marks. Has anyone been able to fix this? It's to the point where I'm ready to rip the stupid POS off.

Can't. The left side can't be pushed up anymore, or else the lip wont be able to wrap around the bumper.

Crap dude. Sell the rear lip and get a damn front lip and be done with it. You've spent so much time with this whole rear lip thing.

I'll have to look at it, cuz the holes that are supposed to be for the brackets are to small to fit a ziptie in.

And rcf22, I already have a new garnish.

Those scratches in the center aren't from the lip right? You just get them in the spot where you push it down? I was gonna say 3M tape as well, but maybe it's time to go a different route.

either that just switch them out for the rear caps (valences). i think those look better than the actual RS1 rear lip.

weld the exhaust, then it won't move when you bump it, thus no pushing on the lip.

done =]

The RS1 rear lip comes with "L" brackets which you use to mount it to the rear bumper.. this will prevent it from moving up or down.. Did you use those when you installed it?
