Slight? Depends on how you define slight. Did air bags go off? Anything damaged other than the outer panels? (I.E. Axles, CV joints, radiator, transmission etc.)

Sitting at a red light and then all of sudden BAM. Guy says his foot slipped off the brake. The cops estimated that he was going 40MPH.

I was the passenger and walked away, the driver suffered back n neck pains but is doing ok.

I showed this to my acura buddy and he said it totaled and if not the gas tank will be the hardest part to repair. =/

Can't really tell by this picture if they would total it. If it cost more to fix it them it's worth then ya it will be totaled.

I one my guy's got run off the road in his EVO by a STI that wanted to race him. he went down a ditch went thought two fences and hit a enbackment. over 16 G's in damage and the insurance fixed it.

My opinion is No,
The driver's c-pillar still has structure and the left rear tire appears to have alignment. By estimating on the picture; new hatch, bondo rear panel, rear bumper and left taillamp... Front damage is slight as stated.

If it were my car, I'd certainly want them to total it. However, knowing how insurance companies handle things, I'd bet they won't total it.

Told ya! People are missing one important fact. He only has 3k miles on the car. It would not be totaled with 9,800 in damage
