Ah yeah, lots of people in the fourms talk about making their diffrent, but when someone comes up with something like this that would really mess people up and get them asking about what the car is they get bashed? Help me out here, this is something not many people have, and it is truly diffrent, why are people bashing the idea? This is not your car people it's tuningvelocity's car. I say if you want to rebadge the car go for it, not my thing but it is diffrent so cool.

Hey OutCrnrU wasn't your car in HIN San Mateo before? Bc I remember seeing the toyota emblem and the fogs that look like tat there. I probably want to copy you guys too and put a Toyota Emblem... but instead of having it black or chrome I"m going to buy some tint spray and spray tint on the chrome so that it looks more gun metal or black chrome

The engine was made by Toyota, the car was not. You might as well suggest putting Toyota badges on a Pontiac Vibe.
On the carbon fiber engine cover the tC coming out soon it has a Scion emblem instead of Toyota.

Ummmm, the car is in fact made by Toyota. . . it came out of plant that manufactures many other Toyota models. . . your windows say Toyota, your parts, plastic panels, airbags, mirrors, seats, EVERYTHING.

And the Vibe is also made by Toyota. GM has a partnership with Toyota to share resources, and out of this deal, the used to get the Chevy/Geo Prism (which was identical to the Corolla). The last generation Corolla is dead, so now the get the Vibe (Matrix). It is the same car, built out of the same plant, with a different set of sheet metal on the outside. Make no mistake, it is a Toyota, built by Toyota, built FOR GM.

And an Eagle Talon IS ACTUALLY a Mitsubishi Eclipse. A Honda Passport is an Isuzu Rodeo, a Ford Aspire is a Kia of some sort (forgot the model), a Dodge Stealth is a Mitsubishi 3000GT, a Kia Optima is a Hyundai Sonata, a Lamborghini Gallardo is built BY Audi. In fact, there is a significant difference in build quality between Audi built Gallardo's and Lambo built Murcielago's(which were sourced before the new partnership). And with the Eclipse and Talon, you can mod a Talon in the same way you would a Mitsu GSX. . .

Since when was the tC NOT a Toyota?

As for if it would fit... eh... not sure. Never measured them.

Moved to DC though...
i come from the land of sleepers and HONDA. I defected to Toyota/Scion in July at the first sight of the tC. I too have wrestled with what to do to separate my tC from the others now after a year of being a pioneer with my purchase. One thing I learned from doing the whole Honda Tuning thing is this KISS(keep it simple stupid). I've opted for function over form so forth and so on, kinda like Spoon or Mugen. Lets leave the emblems behind, get rid of the wish list of stickers plastered all over the body. Keep It Simple. Im looking to blend TRD dress up parts to accompany my full TRD Suspension and shift **** with a Greddy exhaust, hints perhaps TRD badging replacement. SCION auto TRD performance

I'm thinking about a Lexus emblem for the sole fact that my name starts with 'L'. Maybe he just just like the look of the emblem.

I'm not telling what to do with his car. I'm just telling him his idea is lame. If your going to rebadge the car why not make is a Roll Royce or Porshe or BMW? Heck p[ut GM badges on it.

lame... the reason some people want to put toyota because Scion is another division of Toyota... heck... even your VIN Badge has the toyota logo on it.
