if i want to bolt the spiler down, how do I anchor the bolts into the spoiler since it won't come with bolts like the scion spoilers?

i'm not brave enough to tape down a $300+ spoiler (after painting) with just tape. I'd really appreciate it if somebody shows me how to bolt the thing down and tight.

im the opposite, im brave enough to tape it and be able to take it off later. im not brave enough too drill holes in my baby. my old dodge stratus air dam was held on with 3m tape and it held fine. that was heavy and with wind hitting it at speeds over 100 everyday. never had a problem.

interesting...how difficult is it to remove it, say by 'unauthorized' persons. will the tape damage the paint upon removal?

Truthfully they would be able to take it. It would probably just leave some adhesive stuck on. When I took the air dam off I needed to use goo gone and a blow drier to take the adhesive off. The paint might get messed up if it gets yanked off. I don't care my alarm is more sensative than beyonce's nipples on a cool afternoon.

If you are worried that someone will take it then you may bracket it. The bracket gun is $10 at a hardware store and it is easy. Your paint shop should do a good job with the install, ask them to bracket it to the trunk lid. It is no problem.
Yes, I am supplying the doublesided tape! Also I'm waiting for those who might not have recieved the email, taking your orders now. So please complete checkout using your correct payment option.

Thank you and God Bless,
Chris

Hey everyone, Glad to see everyone is all psyched out about the spoiler. I order mine Thursday so I cant wait to get it on an post pics. All you people worried about the 3M tape, its not regular tape. Its VHB high density tape, I work for a sign company and we use that tape to replace rivets on signs that are 50feet in the air so dont worry, a little 20 lbs spoiler will be fine, just make sure that before you install it to go by AUtozone or Pepboys and buy that stuff, i forget whats its called to remove the wax before you apply the tape. That tape is used to bond plastic to plastci and metal to metal and mixed ways so it will be perfect. Well just thought I'd clear up the whole thing of the tape. Cant wait to see pics of TC's with the spoiler. Take care
