Truck bed liner scion
I like it.
You now basically have an armor-plated tC; you can bomb around town and through dirt/rocks/sand without a care in the world. You can wash it in 3 minutes with a power washer and $0.10 worth of water.
Even if it takes a brutal gash from someone hitting it with a crowbar or something, you can just shoot the area with more truck bed liner.
I painted my tC with Krylon Chalkboard Paint, and the first thread I made showing it off (on another forum) started out with nothing but flaming, but eventually most people decided they liked it (esp. after completing the look with black rims/little details here and there).

Granted the truck bed liner is a pretty extreme case of function over form, but I think if you kept going and painted your rims/customized your lights, your car would look dope.

Biscuits, your car looks bad ___, and you are right, it will look better once i tint the tails and paint the rims. it's still a work in progress. she won't be done for awhile.
i'll keep updated with what i do next. maybe some will change their opinion about her.

A lot of people in this thread really like their factory paint... some questions for you though:
+ Any previous painting experience?
+ How long did it take?
+ How much did it cost?
+ Can we get closer pics with better lighting?

It took about two days. Most of the time was spent on prep. If you don't prep right there is not point in even trying. Everything was removed.
It cost about $160 at the most.
I'll try to get some pics up later. I have some days off coming up.
You guys haven't seen a bedlinered car before?

Not everyone is a fan but it's certainly unique and as long as you like it, who cares. If nothing else it's a much more functional alternative to flat black paint

Yeah, I used that stuff on my truck bed, it sucks, wait for a year till it starts chipping off, and then you repaint it and it looks like crap. Hope you sanded really good on the factory paint to hope to god it stays on. But as I said its crap. Not very reliable.
