Tryin to catch me ridin dirty...
It finally happened...I got pulled over for my tint and actually had to take it off. I was leaving the mall parking lot at about 10 pm. My windshield is (well was) tinted 35% and the rest f my windows are 15%. I got pulled over and surrounded by 4 cars. You would've thought I stole the car or something. Mind you, I did already have a repair order, so this made it my second one. The lady went back to the car to write up my ticket (i'm glad it was only $60). Then the guy approached my car with a razor blade and told me to peel the windshield tint off. While this is happening another cop pulls up and says "Hey, u guys just missed a car with stolen tags." I was really upset when he said that. They pulled me over for tint when there's people riding by them with more serious issues. It's okay though, other than my windshield, my windows are still tinted.
I dont understand why people tint their windshield. Its very illegal and just makes cops hate tint in general. I have legal tint and still get dirty looks from cops. They really hate tint cause of the people that have abused it.

Can you do this?? Really curious, cause one of the main reasons I was thinking of getting tint is because my eyes are so sensitive to the light. I seriously think everyone has their high beems on- I can never tell the difference. Oh and you HID people
.. don't even get me started lol. I even have anti-glar glases but I still can't tell the difference...[/quote]
I do believe so. I was giving this some thought too since my girlfriend has the same issues with oncoming lights as you do. She sees really bad star bursts around oncoming lights and the HID well.......basically triggers a headache because of the intensity. As far as I know in CA you can't tint your front side windows either but maybe with the note you can do that too.
