They'll dry out on the first hot/humid day -- I know

that's an easy fix man, no need to worry. First way for the water or fog to go away.
Then head over to home depot and get some Silicone. Go home, take the taillights off and put silicone all around the edges. That will solve the problem.
How I know this???
I owned a couple aftermarket tails and I had this problem with all of them. They're not sealed very good.
Silicone always fixed my problem.

^^Make sure the water is out before sealing them up though.

mmm, silicone is not the best way....
never opened them up before but shouldn't they use the same rubber butyl like they do in the headlights?
if so.. 3m ribbon sealant

i had this problem with my TYC tail lights. I was going to seal them and never got around to it.

just make sure all the water is out first lol.

and on humid, hot days, they will clear up... but every time it rains or you wash your car, it'll come back again.

easy fix. don't worry. and out of curiousity, how old are the lights?

Default TYC tail light problem

I bought them at the dealer in October of 2005 so of course they are not taking them back. I will try to work something out with TYC i read their warranty policy online, i might be able to get a new one, after all they were pretty expensive. Otherwise i will have to open it myself and re-seal it, which was my plan b.

i know a little late to bump this topic, but did you ever get this figured out? mine have condensation too, and my left one has a burned out LED (yeah, 10,000 hours of burn time? hmmmm)

anyway, my dealer is unwilling to help, says they only have a 3 year/36k mile warranty, which is bogus. what ended up happening with yours?
