didn't intend to start a new thread but i hope all of the people who threw in 20 bucks didn't forget about our investment.

I suggest an email, or a phone call to check up... let us know what the result is, as I'm curious as well, and importantly, ask them to post up an update... I didn't throw in 20, but would like to know if it was all for nothing... it has been a while

Hopefully that last post is not true. It would be a nice Christmas present, but too much time to kill.

 

I sent them an email asking if there was any news. This was the reply...

I just remember reading that from them in the thread. Now we have to wait another 3 more months

 

Well, at least there's hope...

 

Just think of it as being the first excellent quality pair of aftermarket headlights for your tC. I agree, I cannot wait that long, but you can't rush perfection.

 

Unless they're just blowin smoke up our *****. Fingers crossed tho.

 

Thats unfortunate about the late december possible release but hey, these should be really good headlights. As long as the company takes its time and does it right the first time, its all good.

 

We have talked to the MFG - they are just about to finally complete product development plans.

In the next 3 weeks, we will finally have a fully working model on which they will begin making a production example.

At that point, in October, we anticipate being able to get our hands on the first model.

Those of you that paid $20 to get this off the ground will get first glimpses via email - DO NOT DISTRIBUTE IT TO ANYONE.

Then, we hope to begin producting in first part of November with delivery on Dec 1st.

it's too late to deposit the 20, this went back 1 year ago.

 

I don't wanna sound like a jerk XtcFast, but if you weren't on the original list and didn't already pay, your not getting anything. Well at least till the originals have decided one way or the other on if they want what was made.

That's the prototype on which the detailed plans will be based, that's not the final revision prototype (CAD) nor is it the production model.

It's basically a whet the appetite sort of photo. It's not the final.

 

Ah, damn. Well I'm just gonna shut up and watch this board before I confuse others.

 

Umnitza can you at least say whether they will incorporate the parking light or turn signal into the eyebrow? I want to get Blue Bat's eyelids...but no point if it will cover up a essential part of the headlight.
