exactly. if ur gonna paint a car its to make it look completely different not to make it look almost the same. it looks like he jus put a sh*tload of clear coats on it to make it glossy. that's like me painting my car a darker grey. its dumb

 

I agree with both of you, if I was going to paint my entire car I would go something completely different.

Actually, the extra shine is from poor photo editing. Odds are, it's no shinier than a clayed/waxed BCP.

It looks like it's just a BCP with a big black stripe.

 

Not trying to be mean but usually a custom job is to make it look different. If you would have gone with a different tone of red it wouldve maybe passed. But i just suggest paint the stockies from here. Possibly a drop if funds are tights.

 

guys guys guys... to change a color of a car you need to re_register it...which in Illinois costs around $600 wasted.. All we did was make it different. I hated BCP because it has alot of purple in it...my car looked girly.

Now the stripe makes it look really mean IMO.

since my whole car was keyed, i decided to make a different color, close to CBP so i wouldnt have to re-register it.

The extra shine is coming from the photographer over cooking it in Photo shot. Which is not my problem. I will post an original photo, untouched, so you can see the difference.

 

well that makes some sense..you should have mentioned that your car had actually been keyed (assuming it was pretty bad)..probably would have gotten a lot less flaming..still not feeling the black though lol

 

and yes Rims are coming hopefully this summer, because i need summer tires.

so wait, u hated BCP bc it was a girly color so u went to an almost exact same shade of BCP in ur new paint job? so since spening 600 on re regestering a car is pointless y even paint it to begin with? it was a more waste of money to get almost the same exact color anyway, the stripe doesn't make it look mean at all it makes it look kinda doofy imo u shoulda jus got a cf hood and hatch which probably woulda cost u the same as painting the car and ur car wouldn't look "girly" anymore. but ur car still looks girly then. same color, black stripe=no

you got the paint job for free so why not pay $600 and get a REAL custom color... nothing really special to see here... just a BCP w/ a black center... but that can also be done by vinyl.

 

my whole car was keyed, all the way down to the bare metal. We had to bondo, primer, and get it ready for paint. Its nothing close to BCP it looks like it in the pictures. I will post more pics as soon as i get them.

THE PAINT JOB WAS FREE because my dad owns a professional body shop, and money came from the insurance since it was vandalism. So we abcislly got payed to repaint my car...so how is getting a CF hatch and hood cheaper then repainting my whole car for FREE???? please let me know



ur opinion on the stripe is your own. So far i haven't met one person in real life who doesnt like it.

if i do gold rims then its like colors on the car...so i will probly end up with black, i dont know, not really planning it yet. Gonna work 2 summer jobs to get those rims and tires
