I love this kit. Hotest one out right now. I want it so bad but I don't see it happening anytime soon. Seems to be too many extra manditory costs. Even if I've saved up enough for the kit, paint and installation, then I'll need money for fog inserts and fogs, not to mention it seems that the mesh grilles will cost extra, despite the fact that heru repeated in the last thread that the kit came with grilles.

streetconcept wrote:

Then on top of all this a custom dual exhaust or some custom bending of some kind is manditory. I didn't expect to get free fogs, but to have to pay $109 plus shipping for the inserts that should have just been part of the kit, seems like a rip off. I mean no one is going to run the set up with those gaping holes in the front. I'm starting to wonder if it would be cheaper just to get a supercharger.

Anyway, now I'm ranting now about my own poverty, I apologize for that. gwtc your car looks sick, I just hope the paint actually does look matched in person. Congratulations to Heru and Street Concepts for making the sickest body kit that the scion community has ever seen. Just thnk that manditory peices like the inserts should be included in the price.

I agree. I put my name on the list and have the money in hand. However, if the foglight inserts are not included in the price, I will be taking my name off the list.

Hey gwtc, how much was it to paint the whole kit? Also what kinda price will you be anticipating for the dual exhaust? Anyone else who knows how much a custom dual will cost can chime in as well.

How cool would it be to have a setup of double duals like the Magnaflow mufler for the M3 set up on this tc. Yo gwtc, if you got the cash, that's what you should do.

NICE mang! I reccomend putting some non see through mesh that they use on mercedes or euros for the back on the two huge openings and paint those black and other than that the rear setup will look hot. Good job! Keep it up! Another nice accomplishment by Street Concept!

The paint seemed to slim the rear down a bit. Un-painted, I did think it looked rather disproportion in the rear. But glad to see it turn out ok.

You could also go with a custom setup where the tips looks like the square ones on the new Acura TL and make them come out through the squares in the back bumper and IMO I think it would look much cleaner on the rear, but then again it's your car and you do what you like the most.

oh and by the way It looks awesome the fitment, the looks. Just perfect!!

keep up the good work!

I would by the sideskirts with matching front/rear lip... it's the cleanest, sharpest thing on the entire kit... Not meaning to hate or anything, it's just the sides are the best thing about that kit, period.

Maybe it will look different with grill and mesh pieces... but if you have to pay for fog covers... that kinda sucks... the front looks... alright... I liked it at first but the more and more I look at it, the lines don't work for me... and there are not sharp clean lines like on the side skirts. Same goes for the rear. The sides don't blend well with the rear because the sides are clean and sharp where the rear is more smoothed out... just my opinion.

But your ride is definately hot, don't get me wrong. I just think it can be better >=]

Be sure to have Heru cut you some grills using the same stuff he's using for the front grills to fill the rear holes in the bumper. I really like it and hope Heru takes this as CONSTRUCTIVE criticism and not being picky, seeing it painted I still think the stock shape of the top grill would have made it a little more aggressive looking and not so "cute" but even with the new shape upper grill, it looks great!!! My mom lives in Canoga Park, so maybe we can meet up sometime so I can see it in person. Congratulations on your tc's new clothes.

Thanks, maybe we can meet up next weekend, I'll be visiting from AZ that weekend, so who knows. Thanks for the advice.
