So i got the rims on and did a very quick wash. Enjoy:

Orange peel is usually caused from not enough sanding. You want to LIGHTLY sand the VHT until there are no more bumps or imperfections. Then spray the clear on thick (I spray it on until I can see my reflection in it), allow it time to dry to the touch, lightly wet sand any orange peel off, re-clear again, then wet sand again. The tail light will look dull and flat....then use rubbing compound on a buffer or a dual action polisher (3M Rubbing Compound works the best). Lastly apply numerous coats of wax of your choice and the end result should be shiny like these:

ohh alright i gotchya. Yeah i only wet sanded once for quite a bit then just cleared and polished. this was my first time and im gettin rid of the car so now I'm prepared for next time. Thanks a lot for the help!!
