ok, so to make it short, a friend and i went to a scion dealership to test drive a tC and when he asked the salesman about the engine specs, the guy said something about a "v6 in 2 years." So... basically i wanted to know if anyone else has heard of this or what their thoughts are if this is in fact true. This guy could have been a complete retard though, because he didnt seem to bright to begin with (thought it was an auto when there was clearly a stick sitting there...drove it flawlessly too, sigh, what is the world coming to?)

 

1st you posted in the wrong section 2nd. i dont think they would put a v6 into one of these cars 3rd if they do kick butt

 

I doubt it.. there are too many rumours.. hell some will tell you that it will have AWD I am sure

Unless the stretch the front, or move the firewall back I dont expect to see one.

To do that, they'd have to side-mount it, and the engine bay's not wide enough, or long enough, like engifineer said.

 

even if there is enough room, i highly doubt it....

it's not what scion would do.

 

since tc shares with camry engine.. could it be the same v6 we find in v6 camries?

did he also say double exhaust? =D

but if it does come out.. maybe its an option not standard.
