keep it unless it is thrashed.....you have a nearly paid for car,or paid for car,it is Toyota and will drive if maintained for 10 years with little to no problems.......keep it and enjoy it......if you trade it you are looking at gettign no more than $7000.......that is crappy, even a private sale you will get no more with the way economy is.

Nothing that I can think of that won't hurt your wallet.

i would keep it, but if you're still gonna think about trading it in pretty soon, i wouldnt spend the money on more parts, such as the seats.

start saving up to eventually get what you want.

its the times also. Many poeple are not buying and values are showing this. A large percentage of people dont even have a source of income at this point to buy a car so that also degrades resale. I would hang on to it and enjoy no new car payments.

I also was considering getting a new ride but in California sales tax is at about 10 percent and they just doubled of our liscence fees!

California blows! lol

With an accident indicator (carfax) on your car it does not matter what you put into you will allways get a low dollar value for your car because of that (trade in). You can put it up for private sale for any amount you want it is your car. Take a shot you might get 11 or 12k for it but you will probally get a bunch of people saying I will give you 4,000 for it and all you will have to say is no!

If you really want to get rid of it.. I suggest you sale all of the aftermarket parts and and replace all the OEM parts back to how it is.. This way.. More people would be more interested in the car... Most people like a car stock as possible.. Then put it on craigslist.com by the price of KBB or emund and wait for people to call you with offers.. i think that would be your best bet.. Good luck..

and to the guy that offers $4000...

just keep it. with the way the economy is going you won't get more than 8k and thats if your lucky. And if you do plan on doing that part out your parts and make some extra bucks
