i'd rock lambo doors only because im scared of opening the tc's long ___ doors to hit someone. but i wouldnt want to spend that much on a door accessory though

Have you guys ever tried to get in an out of a car with the Lambo door mod? Nearly impossible! The bottom corner of the door is placed right where your head would normally be so you have to avoid brain damage every time you exit the car. They should call them LIMBO doors.

 

Thats the version that doesnt tilt enough.. or pop out enough... those are the older cheaper kits...

i agree - its not rice - its lambo - euro style - i dont like it because the doors must first swing out about 3 inches and then be pushed upward. on a regular lambo they go strait up and look better because of that - aftermarket lambo doors or vertical doors stick out too far before going upwards. with that in mind i bet they look alot better in person and i know most people that get into that car are not expecting their doors to be vertical. get alot of "oohs" and "aahhs" from the girlies but your stock wiring harness must be chopped for this mod.

i do like the looks of these doors alot of the tC though. I definately wouldn't call it rice.

if I pulled up to a gas station (or somewhere) and put these doors up i'm almost positive that I'd get compliments just because it's so different.

 

have you guys seen the way the Mclaren SLR or the Enzo opens up? I believe they use 2 hinges, on on the side, and one higher up on the A-pillar. I think that can be better for support and opening, as well as not have too much sagging

 

SLR opens at the rear view mirrors, one and only to use that type of hinge system, i read an article about it, very crazy design and very very strong hinges

 

I think it looks pretty hot. If you got an extra 1000 bucks laying around go for it.
And as for some people calling it RICE. Please, just cause you can't afford it does not make it rice. Rice is those LED tipped exhausts u find at autozone. Or those type-r stickers you find on civic DX's.

 

there is a company that makes lambo doors that go straight up. they even go up to 130 degrees. with those there is no problem getting in and out of the car. also they offer a remote door opener that you dont even have to touch the doors to open them. now that is cool and no where near rice.

its not called "lambo doors" instead they called it an"upright door system" its pretty sweet. i would get it. and starting prices are at $899 which isnt that bad for the door kit. (also has a limited lifetime warranty). i woundnt consider that rice..,


also rice is all about peoples opinion. its all a bunch of bull s***. anyone that says rice this rice that its really annoying and immature.

lambo doors are hott just cuz one car made it doesnt mean we can have it.. dont be hating .. but the lambo doors do need repairs.. the price is expensive with many repairs for future needs.. if u are planning to buy lambo doors..
