Im thinking about getting lambo doors sometime next year, but not sure and dont want to commit unless Im really sure about it.

there is only one video online of an aftermarket ebay kit on youtube, that shows how they work, unfortunately it looks like a cheaper kit.

Id like to see how the better kits like jt auto or others look and work when the doors open.

I know a lot of people do not like lambo doors, but I think they looks pretty good on the tc and as long as the door pulls out at the first stop, thats enough room for me to get in and out without lifting the door.

VDI FTW -- Dont like the way the doors "V" oit on the LSD. Reminds me of Dumbo.

 

i agree but i never said VDI was the best i said one of the best yes LSD is POBABLY the best unless there is another company out there i do not know of..but a great kit that is affortable and works great that i have not heard any complaints about it not fitting right so idk what your talking bout (unless maybe you don't get it installed by a pro) BUT VDI is ONE of the best

 

I agree with SWTCKID, but VDI is the kit I have and its damn good. LSD doors are good, but comparing to VDI, they are about the same. I have had 0 problems with the kit and I can back it with twice the support because me and my brother both have the kits with no problems. Plus, we both have wide body and it still works. If I had the LSD kit with the widebody, that huge V thing going on with the doors would probably destroy my wide CF flares. Just my two cents.

 

what kinds of problems?

Ive heard some horror stories about doors breaking off and such, is this something I should be concerned with on the higher quality kits?

from what Ive read here in the forums, people like jt auto and they seem to do a lot of tc's, so experience is comforting.

Im a bit worried about taking it to a body shop with a door kit and not knowing how much experience they have with tc installs.

 

my friends jt kit started sagging alot and it messed up his power windows and he had a gap...you dont have to worry about those problems witht he higher quality kits
