the only fake CF i have is my alarm fob, and I would really like to paint it but havent had the drive.

ive actually had like 3 people say "LOL, even your keyfob is carbonfiber!" and im like ummm... fail. Its horridly fake looking.

Some people are actually fooled by fake cf.

sad part is for waht they paid to purchase the cheap vinyl and have it installed they could of jsut bought a cheap CF hood and installed it........this is serious fail.

Just go with a real carbon hood! I wouldn't mess around with a vinyl look alike!

How much is the real deal?

Anyone could add a carbon fiber "skin" over the top of the hood.

lay out the fabric and add resin,then clear it.

all scion owners, please do the company and its automobile owners a favor and do NOT wrap your hoods. they ALL look and feel fake. you can get a seibon oem for around 500 shipped.

EXACTLY!!!!

I ordered a "SAMPLE" piece from ebay.. nto to bad, but for a hood? NO F****** WAY!!. I used the sheet for my gaming headset. looks good on there but NOT EXTERIOR OF A CAR!!!!!!!
