ok im in need of a cf hood and hatch!!! really desperetly!!! i need input back form people who have these and i want to know your opinion on who is better??? VIS?? or SEIBON??? or is there someone else?? i just need input and i need it soon!!! please help!!!! i would like to know about fitment and qaulity!!!! money doesnt matter to me... i dont care who is more expensive and all that bullcrap!!!

I have a seibon hood and VIS hatch -- both fit good

 

Both are excellent pieces. Have never had a problem with wither one but my nod goes to Seibon as they have the style I like.

 

VIS!

 

seibon all the way, stronger latches, VIS uses larger weave so it doesnt look as nice from what i've compared in person.

i just installed my Seibon today.....pure sex. like a glove. widening the washer nozzle holes and running the lines was easier than most make it out to be:

VIS has two different kind of weaves, they have the 2x2 and that huge weave.

anyway, both are good hoods.

 

hws the fitment though? are the gap lines consistent???

yea i was kinda leaning towards seibon, i like the VSII hood, but i like the vis trunk with the intergrated lip.......



does anyone have a trunk? if you do then did you install or did you let whoever was doing the glass, install the trunk???

 

fitment was great. as long as you align it up before tightening everything down, your gaps will all be even.

 

I voted Seibon. Fitment on my hood is perfect.

 

fitment is nearly perfect on siebon best ive seen i love my VSII i got pics if u want to see it on a flint mica not sure what color urs is

i still have to adjust the hood a bit, but otherwise both are great pieces!!!

my VIS hatch is sweet! great fitment and the weave is awesome

 

dont go vis bro. they sent me 2 messed up hoods and a busted hatch. all 3 were diff. weave of c/f. i would strongly advise you to go with seibon.

the hatch is cake to install, but again my vis didnt have a single thing drilled out, latches, spots for wires , nothing
