i want to get some VRD fog lights for my 09 tc and i read on another thread here on scionlife that APT is the same exact thing as VRD and it just costs cheaper. is this APT fog light that i found on ebay legit? please help me out.

they're legit, but idk about the HID kit part

 

yeah those are the fogs to buy, but i wouldnt recommend an HID kit

 

if i dont use an HID kit on these how can i get the same or similar light output as my 6k HIDs in my headlights?

 

^^ im using a h3 hid kit. you have to be very careful though they dont' fit EXACTLY but they can be tightened enough that they fit. don't over tighten or you will burst the bulb. but yea they fit and im running 6k hids with no problem for 6 months now.

also, is it legal to drive with these fogs with 6k HIDs in them?

 

The reason they dont suggest HIDs is because they give off a ton of glare that will blind people.
