You are incorrect, tCtCtC. The VRD uses the stock fog-light switch to connect. Piece of cake to install.

The only thing you have to swap is the wire that goes to the bulbs. It plugs in behind the front bumper, pretty much right next to where you air filter is if you have a CAI. Under dash wiring and switch can all stay.

Yea I don't think you can plug the vrds into the oem wiring harness. You would have to use the harness the vrd's come with.

Yeap... Just plug the VRD's into the pink plug behind the front bumper and all other wiring can stay exactly the same as OEM... I installed the VRD Fog's on my car and it was a piece of cake... Even if you don't have OEM foglights the VRD's still use that same OEM wire setup, they just provided the rest of the kit such as relay and wires in the box to use the OEM setup.

I'd take the bumper off regardless. I know everyone on here will say that you don't have to, but it makes for a clean install. You can run the wire above the bumper support and wire tie them to the other wires. I took off the bumper when I did mine.

OK, here's my VRD question. I just installed mine yesterday and I ran into a slight issue. The wiring coming out of the drivers' side foglight is a little too close to my CAI filter. I have an Injen Hydroguard on it and I'm kinda afraid that with the light being on for an extended period of time that the wires may become too hot and possibly burn the hydroguard or worse start a fire. I'm sure someone has had this issue with the wires being to close. Do they become that hot or am I just being too critical?
